Annemarie Lopez discusses the the gallery, from it's beginnings in Punt Road 16 years ago to the Prahran institution it is today.
Jacqui Stockdale: Artist in Residence for Circus Oz

Jacqui Stockdale was the artist in residence during Circus Oz’s recent Melbourne season, STEAMPOWERED. During the shows Jacqui did live drawings of the performers under The Big Top in charcoal, conte and ink. This project continued Jacqui's long-time collaboration with Circus Oz, who she has been capturing at work for more than six years.

Jacqui's capacity to draw directly from life reflects her incredible talent. She was recently also artist in residence for Moira Finucane’s 'Carnival of Mysteries' shows in Melbourne, and did 'on the spot' drawings of passers by during a residency at Watch This Space during the Alice Springs Desert Festival.

Drinking to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre

Thanks to all those who came along to the opening of Tim Moore and Tai Snaith's exhibition openings last night. It was a fantastic, busy evening with a number of the writers who collaborated with Tai on her show doing readings and musician PHIA playing.

We asked for gold coin donations for drinks, with the proceeds raised going towards the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. People were incredibly generous and we successfully raised $500 for the amazing centre. Cheers!
